Eligibility
- Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- For Junior Statistical Officer, Mathematics at 12th level or Statistics as a subject in graduation may be required.
- For Statistical Investigator Grade-II, graduation with Statistics as a subject in all three years/semesters is required.
- Candidate must fulfill nationality conditions as prescribed in the official notification.
- Final year students may apply only if they acquire the qualification by the cut-off date.

Exam Pattern Notes
Tier 1 is an objective-type online exam consisting of 100 questions for 200 marks. The duration is 60 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam is qualifying in nature for shortlisting candidates for later stages, but marks may also be used depending on SSC policy.
